So. After five days of training and finally being let in on the apparent grandiose secret of what I was going to be doing for the next four months, I can honestly say that it will be bearable. What will I be doing you ask? Well, as I am a Costuming Hostess in the Hollywood Studios character room, it is now my duty to help characters get ready for their photo shoots in the park. Is that really what I do? To an extent. I am forced to use a little "pixie dust" since the truth may ruin the whole "Disney magic thing". I don't really want to ruin the "Disney Magic" just yet, so I have to warn you. There will be no pictures of my workplace - ever. I don't want the people from Disney tracking me down in Denver and telling me all about how I ruined Disney for maybe twelve people (if that).
So yeah. You know what else makes Disney magical? Color changing cocoa. I am fascinated by this stuff. I haven't tried it yet, I just keep buying different boxes of it to mail in all of the care packages I'm mailing back to all of you. Speaking of which, if you decide you want to mail me anything, let me know and I'll pass on my address. :)
As of today, I've been to three out of the four parks. Why not all of them? Because Animal Kingdom has wonky hours, and I'm usually working during those times. Lame! This whole work thing is messing with me hardcore. I actually went to bed at 9:30 last night. WTF. I haven't done that in YEARS.
As for comic relief from this college student in Florida:
-Some idiot has a license plate that reads "HEHEHEHE". WTF. Who does that. Seriously. You're clearly not a child anymore since you drive that swell car, so why make your license plate sound like you are?!
-My roommates and I talked about serial killers on the bus one night on our way home from Hollywood Studios. We clearly are classy ladies. :)
-The Giraffe woman that was discussed in an earlier post - works with me. She still is lacking some braincells.
Okay. That's all I got for now, since I have to go and catch a bus and stuff.
